Subhashini Ali, a member of the Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), has been a prominent figure in Indian Left politics for over four decades. She served as a Member of Parliament from 1989 to 1991, representing Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. As an activist and former President of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), she has played a leading role in numerous struggles advocating for women’s rights.
