The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has inaugurated its swanky new headquarters, Keshav Kunj, in New Delhi on Wednesday (February 12).

Spread across five lakh square feet on a four-acre plot in Jhandewalan, the state-of-the-art complex features modern infrastructure, including three towers, around 300 rooms, big auditoriums, a library, a hospital, and a Hanuman temple.

Built at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore, the facility has been entirely funded through public donations. According to an RSS functionary, nearly 75,000 contributors donated amounts ranging from Rs 5 to several lakh rupees to support the construction, Hindustan Times reported.

The newly built headquarters is designed to accommodate the growing activities of the Sangh. It surpasses the BJP headquarters in size and offers office spaces, training programs, residential quarters, and event venues.

The complex consists of three towers—Sadhana, Prerana, and Archana—with each serving a distinct purpose.

While Sadhana houses the organization’s offices, Prerana and Archana have been developed as residential quarters.

Between the two residential towers, there is a large open space featuring a manicured lawn and a statue of RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, which has been designated for daily shakhas.

The facility also includes a five-bed hospital for medical care and three large auditoriums with a combined seating capacity of over 1,300 people. One of the auditoriums, named after former VHP president Ashok Singhal, features stadium seating and cushioned sofa chairs.

The headquarters has parking for 135 cars, with plans to expand the capacity to 270 cars in the future.

The RSS had been operating from the Udaseen Ashram in Jhandewalan for the past eight years while construction of the new headquarters was underway. The transition to Keshav Kunj began in September 2024, and the organization has now fully relocated, though some interior work is still ongoing.
