A blue cluster bus on route 340, carrying nearly 40 passengers and traveling from Central Secretariat to Seemapuri, caught fire at the Jagatpuri bus stand in the national capital, the police said.
The Jagatpuri police station received a PCR call reporting the blaze at 9:48 am, The Indian Express reported.
There have been no reports of any injuries or casualties.
Expressing concern over the incident, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said, "This is a cause of concern for us also... as the bus is just four years old... We will investigate the incident to find out how and why the bus caught fire and how it can be prevented in future,” the newspaper reported.
